armadillo accident

Yep, you read that right.
Armadillo accident.
Poor Paige was laying on her back playing
with an “armadillo statue,” when she
dropped it and it landed on her face.

And making this look worse than it is, she
had already put a bandaid on her
chin just for fun.

The saddest little face!

She decided to remove the unnecessary
bandaid now that she had a real injury.

But even that wasn’t going well.
Bandaids are sticky, y’all!

Obviously that’s handy when you need one.

She eventually got it off and we
survived the rest of the day.

Paige had some big coughing attacks the
night before and wasn’t feeling
good in the morning, so we were taking
it easy.

We even did some light “homeschooling.”
She still said no to my offer to actually
homeschool her.
This little girl lives for her school days!
A pre-accident photo.

Crafting time after some Pom Pom math.

Some “How To” on the driveway.

We chose “How to Go Camping” and
“How to Make S’mores”

Paige pointed out that my directions
had no audience since they didn’t begin
with “You need to...”

But I guess writing in a circle is ok?
Haha

Little sister time is a must around here.

Paige is such a natural mom.
She’s LOVING that Brooke can make believe
with her now...her own little baby to carry around and
one that even calls her “mama.”

Tate was there, too.
Scheming up some kind of outdoor adventure
for his sisters to join in on.

I’m ready for spring break.
