monday monday

Monday bumday! (It should be a thing)
I love Mondays full of nothing.
Love it.

My house falls apart on the weekends.
Honestly, it’s falling apart everyday,
but exceptionally so on the weekends.

So on Monday we did puzzles
(Thanks, Mimi!)

And practiced Tate’s smile.

You can’t make this up, folks.

Paige showed him how it was done.

We made muffins for breakfast and
I somehow ended up with simultaneous,
yet unrelated meltdowns.

Good thing kids bounce back quickly.

Y’all. Paige was so proud of
the race track she made. So proud that she
wanted me to take a picture. She
said it matched the picture on the box.
Obviously this looks nothing like the racetrack
on the box.

Tate watched some tv...with his
fishing net.

Paige read to her baby
(Olivia, who will be one on January 4th apparently)

And then Brooke finally woke up!

This girl loves her baby!

In case you’re wondering-this is
still what life looks like when I’m nursing Brooke.

Recliners were made for 4, right?

It’s finally not a million degrees outside!
We were outside most of the day.
It. Was. Perfect.

So much bubble spilling.

Hey there, sucker!

These two are so funny to watch.
Little bit of love/hate.
Haha.
We’ll see how their relationship evolves.

Back inside to get ready for dance.

So many selfies.

A show for Tate means
time to play with his lures.
(Thanks, Omi!)

Seriously, he loves fishing.
Loves it with his whole (tiny) body.

And then I realized dance was over.
Oops!
Mom of the year. Got Paige ready, then learned
that our month had ended.

Happy to report that Paige was ok with it!
Glad I never bought her tap shoes. Haha

Highlight of the evening?
“Mrs. Nell’s home!!!!!”

We sure love our neighbors.
Mrs. Nell spoils the kids rotten and brings
them a snack everyday.

People need to quit ragging on Mondays.
(Although the people who rag on it
probably have jobs...so rag away!)
